On Sale at thecorner.com: Over 50% off Mark McNairy Shoes
Unlike their sister site Yoox, thecorner.com features current season merchandise. RIght now that includes a handful of Mark McNairy shoes for under $200. That’s pretty impressive—the shoes feature Goodyear-welt construction and are made in England, most likely by Northamptonshire’s Sanders & Sanders Ltd.
McNairy’s notorioius for his wacky shoe designs (polka dots, anyone?), but I think the chocolate suede double monks featured above strike a good balance between being just a bit different (with the red brick sole) without getting too “out there.”
Unfortunately, sizing is very limited — the shoe may well be sold out by the time this post gets out. Below, I’ve got two other options worth checking out with many more sizes available: chestnut brogues with a green welt and crepe sole, and black chukka boots with a snow white sole (exclusive to thecorner.com, apparently).
