It’s On Sale: Charles Tyrwhitt Donegal Tweed Tailored Fit Sport Coat
$216 with promo code TYR23B (10% off). Ships free if ordered before midnight.
When I first posted about this jacket a month ago, I thought it was odd that the classic fit alternative was made from “Authentic Donegal tweed,” while  the tailored fit jacket’s fabric is simply “Grey Donegal tweed”. I assumed this meant that the tailored fit didn’t use tweed from Donegal, Ireland.
But then I noticed the product description for the tailored jacket starts with "It’s not everyday you come across a genuine Donegal tweed jacket…"
Curious, I sent an email to Charles Tyrwhitt, asking them to clear up the confusion. A representative responded with the following:

Please accept my apologies for the confusion.I would like to confirm that both jackets are made from the Authentic Donegal tweed from Donegal, Ireland.

Sweet!
Worth noting: it’s usually cheaper ordering from Charles Tyrwhitt’s UK site. In this case, between the 10% off and free shipping promo, the difference is reduced to just $3. But normally, it would be a $40 difference in the case of this jacket.
