My brother recently asked me for advice on an interview outfit. I gave him some suggestions and one of them involved a blazer, and he replied that he's "not really a fan of blazers-too tall and lanky." (I am fairly certain that is not a thing. That's like not being a fan of shirts, right?) But I was wondering if you had any advice for blazers that might suit such a frame?

You’re right, his comment is weird, but I suspect that’s because he’s never found a blazer that fit him quite right.

I have pretty much the exact opposite build as your brother, but my instinct would say to look for minimally-padded shoulders and fairly narrow lapels. J. Crew’s Ludlow would probably look great on him.
